Mechanism of Action
How Does Alevia Work?
The Alevia headset continuously monitors the patient’s brainwave activity in real-time, transmitting the data to a connected tablet.
Through neurofeedback, Alevia facilitates gradual self-regulation of brain activity. As the patient’s brain adapts, their progress is reflected in an interactive game, reinforcing positive outcomes
Alevia works best with consistent use. It involves a two-step treatment program:
STEP 1
Initial Treatment
30 minutes per day
5 days a week
12 weeks
STEP 2
Maintenance
After the initial phase, reduce sessions to about 3 times per week for ongoing pain management.
Patients can also increase sessions during flare-ups or changes in their condition.
Alevia has been rigorously tested in three peer-reviewed clinical trials, demonstrating clinically significant reductions in chronic pain for patients.
Pain
Significant reduction in pain intensity
Mood
Measurable improvements in emotional well-being
Sleep
Better sleep quality and duration
